I would suspect that you neglected to define the Port-Range forwarding within your router. The default Port-Range requirement is: 55536- 56559. NAS: Router: The Port Numbers defined in the "Advanced" area need to match with the Router Port-Range Forwarding screen in your Router. I hope I have been a bit clearer this time You also need to Port-Range forward the Passive FTP ports (as defined in FTP Server, under Network Applications within the QNAP Admin WebUI), from your Router to your NAS. what I did is changing the port for the qnap server (on IP static 192.168.0.3) to 2121 and fowarded accordingly on the portfoward option in the router configuration (192.168.0.3 fowarded to 2121) but as i said it works locally but not if I access from outside the local network. Error: Server returned unroutable private IP address in PASV reply is anyone able to help me. I tried to forward also the passive port on the netgear modem router but I still got the same message: Status: Resolving address of ******.
